This escape through the Aigüestortes National Park took us for 4 days to enjoy nature and tranquility in equal parts.
The idea was to make this trip in phases, the first being the displacement by car from Lloret de Mar to Passanant, where we stayed, passing before Tárrega to make a visit to the family and of course to our main restaurant "La Cava" .
After this "technical" stop, on the second day we start the route on which we pass through Sort (taking advantage of a lottery number) and Rialp, where we enjoy a very touristy place, but at the same time very quiet, that falls in love since we arrived and where we have the firm intention to return one day.
The day is finished in Espot, which is the place where we will stay.
The third day of getaway we dedicate fully to the National Park of Aigüestortes and Lake of Sant Maurici or National Park of Aigüestortes and Llac de Sant Maurici, where we make a small route through the park that, as happened to us in Rialp, leaves us wanting over and willing to return another time.
To finish taking advantage of the day, we spend the afternoon in Esterri d'Aneu, a most picturesque town.
The last day of escape we use it on the way back home, making a stop in Valencia d'Aneu.

Hotel in Valencia d'Aneu. The hotel is 2 stars and is quite basic. It has free parking. They advertise free wifi in the rooms and they do, but it does not work 100%. Breakfast very complete and included in the price of the room. The cleaning a little neglected ... we had a couple of "unpleasant" encounters ...
